Hi, my name is Crystal Strother and I am earning a Master's degree in Public Health concentrating in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My research interests lie at the intersection of bioinformatics, epidemiology and environmental health. I plan to specialize in environmental epidemiology while integrating bioinformatics and epigenetic approaches to study how environmental and social exposures shape health outcomes. Ultimately, I hope to apply this work towards improving health gaps and inform both policy and industry solutions.
